There are some famous museum too where we can know more about the Gurkhali Soldiers, ethnic costumes, ornaments, tools, coins, mountain geography, mountaineering, mountain cultures, species of butterfly. Some famous museum is Gorkha memorial museum, Regional museum, International mountain museum, Annapurna museum.
At Gurkha memorial museum we can know more about our past national heroes, our gurkhali soldiers. It is established at british camp where we can see the collection of uniforms, medals, pictures, weapons and many more used by the soldiers at wartime. We can visit this museum every day except wednes day during 8 am to 4:30 pm. for more comfortable to people this museum has published its own site.

At regional museum we can see a collection of ethnic costumes, ornaments, musical instruments, utensils, agricultural tools, hunting kits, coins and many more. In this museum we can know the way of life of various ethnic groups of western Nepal in one single roof. It is just one kilometer far from mahendra pool and 4 Kilometer far from lakeside. We can reach there by any medium either by foot or by vehicle.
International Mountain museum (IMM) is just 1.5 KM south from the Pokhara airport from where we can see a unique view of 3 Mountain Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu which we can see from none of the other place in the world. Here, we can know about the mountaineering, mountain geography, environment of mountain. We also can know about the culture, ecology, history of mountain. We can visit this museum daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Annapurna Museum is also known as Butterfly museum. Out of 15 families we can seef 11 of them in this museum and more than 500 species can be found here. O'ctober March is known as suitable month to visit there. Its open only for Friday 10 am -3 pm. For more facility for observer this museum has created a site too.
