There are many popular mountain too in pokhara from where we can see whole pokhara like sarangkot, kahunkot , Armalakot and so, on.
Sarangkot is abput 1561 m in height. It is famous for the view point of sun rise. About nondreds of people daile visit there to see the sunrise people also use to go there to take fresh air of early morning. IOT is about 2-3 km by trek.
Kahukot is about 1250m in height. IT lies at easter side of valley. It is well known for the bridge view of pokhara and snakey view of setiviva. It is just 4km far from. City center and is just 2hre on trek on foot.
Bhalam and Anadu danda are also very popular for their religious and cultural sites. Bhalam lies at north about 3km form valley and Anado dada lies at sout about 3km from valley.
Thulakot lies at east of the city on the way to Prince Charles trekking route. It is considered as a right place for the view of Pokhara.
Armalakot lies 7km from the city towards the north. It lies near to mahendra cave of butolechour. It is also known as Gurung village. We can reach there within 2-3 hrs on foot. We can view whole Pokhara including Madi River and seti river.
Mattikhan Bharatpokhari and Nirmal pokhari Danda are are also equally. They lie to southern part of pokhara. We can reach their by vehicle too. From there we can see whole pokhara including Phewa Lake, Begnas lake Rupalake some other lakes too we can also view. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Mansula and also the Gansh himal.
