There are some Monastery too in Pokhara. There People use to pray to lord Buddha. Many times ago thousands of Tibetans had ran away from their homeland and started to live as a refugees. Some of the Tibetans refugee came to Pokhara too. They had boit a wonder ful stupa. In 1963. It lies about 10 Km North west to the maincity. After it was made it was named as "Tangchub choeling Monastery". And now people use to visit there.
Karma Kagga Chhokerling is too a Buddhist monastery which lies on a small hillock. Surrounded by a forest. It is just 4 KM far from Pokhara airport. From that place we can see whole pokhara city. We can watch lots of birds and butterfly on that place.
The world peace pagoda stupa is also called shanty Stupa. It lies on the peak of Ananda Mountain in Pumdi Btumdi. It lies about 2 thousand 1 hundred meter above sea level. Itff is just 7 Kilometers far from city. It is also known as religious site which is 11 meters tall. We can see it from most of the place of pokhara because it is at the top of the hill. It occupies about 21 ropanis of land.
Tibetan had been living in pokhara from many times ago. One of the group of this refugee had setteled at chhorepatan and had buit a monastery Dear the davil's fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev cave. We can get handmade carpet there and is now a tourist spot
