Machhapuchhre Trekking

Pokhara is the 2nd most visited place of Nepal for which Machhupchhre trekking are also equally responsible. Trekkers can have a thrilling sensation. While passing through a Machhapuchhre. This is also due to its wilderness. Trekkers can see deer, tigers, bears, monkeys and other wild animals at the route. This is also rich in vegetation like wild flowers and herbal plants. Multi colored rhododendrons, or chides, grass berries and many other.
Machhapuchher trekking routes start from the northern point of Pokhara. It takes an hour to reach the point by vehicle. The trekking can be done for 5 to 10 days as per the trekkers' interest and if it's not sufficient it can be extended to 10 to 20 days. Trekkers can spend days visiting hot springs pond, waterfalls, caves etc. On the route trekkers have to climb Odane Dande" Where they can find perfect natural environment we can reach thereafter. One two days was trekking from sati and mardi river, white approaching Machhapuchhre. We can watch bird's conservation area known as. Piper pheasants reserve. We can find about 480 species of birds, 40 species of migrant birds and 80s spiecies of mammals.
After 3000 m height the journey is not so easy. After the journey of 2 to 3 days. By dense and rocky forest we can reach a hill called khumai (3140m)
, a perfect view point of lush green forest, wildflowers towards the east west and south. The final destination of general trekkers is korchan hill (3682m) and it takes about 3 to 4 hours from khumai. As it is fully covered with snow at sloppy surface it's not easy to head to mardi Himal and Mt. Machhapuchhre, that's why the trekkers should be fully equipped against snow and altitude sickness.
While coming back to Pokhara from Korcnan. We may come down to Basin of seti river or Basin of Mardi river. On the way to mardi, trekkers have to come down through a  hill "meshram" where we can see "naudhoke" as a monument made by stress.
In this way,by 10 to 20 days a trekking of Mt. Machhapuchhre ends.
